Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing the Game News app, you accept these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree with a provision, stop using the app and delete your account from the Settings screen.
2. Service publisher
Game News is published by Yannis Fouzi, sole trader (SIRET 93759473700010, 18 rue Serge Delcauvry, 95130 Le Plessis-Bouchard, France). For any question regarding the service or these terms: contact@fouzi-dev.fr.
3. Description of the service
Game News aggregates and presents news from the Steam ecosystem about the games you follow. The service is provided for informational purposes; it may change, be modified or be discontinued at any time.
4. Use of the app
You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose, not to undermine its security or stability, and not to collect or exploit data relating to other users. Any misuse may result in the suspension or removal of access to the service.
5. Accounts and Steam authentication
Sign-in is performed through your Steam account using the Steam OpenID protocol. You remain responsible for the confidentiality of your Steam credentials and for any action taken from your account within the app. Valve Corporation is not a party to these terms.
6. Notifications and content
Notifications and content come from public sources or information related to Steam. Their accuracy, completeness and availability are not guaranteed. Game News cannot be held liable for content published by third parties (including Valve or game publishers).
7. Service availability
We aim for continuous availability of the app, without any obligation of result. Interruptions (maintenance, updates, incidents, force majeure) may occur.
8. Intellectual property
The elements specific to Game News (interface, app text excluding third-party content, the Game News mark where applicable) remain the property of the publisher. Steam, Valve and the associated elements are the property of Valve Corporation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Game News is provided "as is". The publisher's liability, if established, shall not exceed the amount ordinarily foreseeable for a free or low-cost app; indirect damages or data losses attributable to third parties or to your hardware do not give rise to compensation unless a mandatory public-order provision states otherwise.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory public-order rules applicable to consumers in the European Union (in particular your habitual place of residence where the law so provides).
11. Changes to the terms
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one displayed in the app, together with its update date. If you continue to use Game News after a new version is published, you are deemed to accept the changes, unless a legal obligation requires separate consent.
